Description
This medicine is a combination of two medicines: Priligy and Dapoxetine. Priligy is used to treat premature ejaculation (PE) in men aged 18 to 64 years old. Dapoxetine is an antidepressant that controls ejaculation by increasing serotonin levels in the brain. Priligy and Dapoxetine work by blocking the serotonin transporter, increasing serotonin’s action at the postsynaptic cleft, and causing ejaculation delay.
Dapoxetine is used to treat premature ejaculation in men aged 18 to 64 years old, or those who experience sudden sexual dysfunction (ejaculation disorder). Premature ejaculation is common in men over the age of 40 years old. Most premature ejaculation is not serious and does not require treatment. However, a delay in the time it takes to ejaculate may be a sign of a problem. Priligy is also used to treat a men’s sexual problems such as delayed ejaculation, dry mouth, low blood pressure, and insomnia.
Dapoxetine is also used in men who experience premature ejaculation. This is because dapoxetine causes serotonin levels to decrease to normal. Thus, dapoxetine may help delay ejaculation by increasing serotonin’s action at the postsynaptic cleft.
Dapoxetine is available as an oral tablet. You can take this medicine as per your doctor’s prescription.
